PSJA ISD Theatre Students Earn Over 20 Palm Award Nominations

PHARR – Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District (PSJA ISD) high school theatre troupes earned 23 nominations for the 2026 Palm Awards happening Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the McAllen Preforming Arts Center.

Modeled after Broadway’s Tony Awards, the Palm Awards deliver a dynamic, high-energy evening filled with live student performances, award presentations, and a glamorous red carpet experience. The celebration aims to foster the love of arts by celebrating outstanding student achievements by highlighting the work of high school students and teachers involved in theatre arts education across the RGV.
