PSJA ISD calls $60 Million Bond Election for November 4, 2025

Pharr, Texas - On July 31, 2025, the PSJA Independent School District Board of Trustees has called a $60 million bond election for voters to be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The bond is divided into two propositions focusing on districtwide improvements.

Proposition A ($54.3 million) will fund:

    · Replacement of aging HVAC systems

    · Roof repairs and replacements

    · Parking lot improvements

    · Renovations of district facilities, including the athletics dome

Proposition B ($5.7 million) will fund renovations to performing arts facilities.

The bond will not increase school taxes, as PSJA ISD adopted a lower tax rate on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Voting Information:

    · Early Voting: October 20–31, 2025

    · Election Day: November 4, 2025

    · Voter Registration Deadline: October 6, 2025 All registered voters 18 or older residing within

     PSJA ISD boundaries are eligible to vote.
